Stop building plumbing: how Four13 builds client integrations 60% faster on fastn
Four13 now builds every new client integration on fastn, including 3PL Connect, its multi-tenant Cin7-to-warehouse product, which is live in production for more than 25 merchants with dozens more onboarding. Using fastn's MCP server alongside AI-assisted development, the team builds new integrations more than 60% faster than on its previous code-first stack.

The challenge
Every Four13 integration used to be its own small software project: a dedicated backend per client, dozens of endpoints, scheduled jobs and queues to monitor. One B2B client alone ran 54 endpoints and 55 scheduled jobs across its US and Canadian stores.
The work was solid, but it didn't compound. Each new client meant more infrastructure to own, and patterns the team had already proven had to be rebuilt by hand.
The solution
Four13 made fastn the execution layer for TranZetta, its integration platform. Connections, scheduling, auth and observability live on fastn. Four13's engineers own the logic: mapping, validation, sequencing and the edge cases that make an integration actually work in the real world. Shared flows are configured per tenant instead of copied per client.
Four13 builds and ships these flows itself, including Cin7-to-3PL sync via TrackStar, TikTok Shop settlement sync, ERP-to-storefront pricing, and SFTP supplier feeds into Cin7.
Results
- 60%+ faster to build a new client integration than on Four13's previous code-first stack
- About five days to take a new SFTP-to-Cin7 supplier feed from scratch to validated
- 25+ merchants live on 3PL Connect's shared fastn flows, with dozens more onboarding
- Every new Four13 client integration is now built on fastn
“We used to start every client integration from scratch, then spend the next year keeping its servers, cron jobs and queues alive. With fastn, the plumbing isn't our problem anymore. My team spends its time on the logic that's actually different for each client, and every new integration starts from what we've already built.”
