From email-only alerts to 14 delivery destinations

Perigon partnered with fastn to solve a problem that was limiting how customers could act on the real-time alerts inside their Signals product. Before fastn, those alerts could only go to one place: email. fastn built Perigon a fully custom integration layer, packaged as an SDK, opening up delivery across the tools their customers already use every day.

With fastn, Perigon no longer had to build and maintain integrations themselves. They got a production-ready delivery layer, and their customers got the flexibility to route alerts wherever their teams actually work.

The Challenge

Perigon's value lies in helping customers identify important events in real time, through its news API and AI event detection. But acting on those insights required alerts to reach the tools where teams already work. With email as the only delivery channel, customers couldn't seamlessly integrate Signals into their existing workflows. Expanding to multiple delivery destinations would have required Perigon to build and maintain a growing library of integrations, diverting engineering resources away from its core product.
